Literary Foreplay

an Erotica Reading

lick

Friday, September 10th, 8pm

FREE

Beth Wylde is bringing her erotica reading series, Literary Foreplay, to Sugar. She'll be bringing some amazing erotica writers with her AND a goodie basket! Authors will include:

Beth Wylde:
Beth writes what she likes to read; which includes a little bit of everything. Her muse is an equal opportunity plot bunny that believes everyone no matter their kink, color, gender or orientation is entitled to love, acceptance and scalding HOT sex. Her pairings span the GLBTQ rainbow and beyond. She is currently published with Phaze, Torquere Press, eXcessica, loveyoudivine and Logical Lust Publishing.

Nobilis Reed:
A few years ago Nobilis Reed decided to start sharing the naughty little stories he scribbled out in hidden notebooks. To his surprise, people actually liked them! Now, he can’t stop. The poor man is addicted. Symptoms include a novel, several novellas, and numerous short stories.

Sunny Moraine:
Sunny Moraine is the author of numerous works of fiction, many of them erotic, almost all of them speculative in nature. She has most recently published stories in the anthologies Queerpunk and Like a Veil, both from Circlet Press, and in the anthology Hellebore and Rue: Tales of Queer Women and Magic, coming soon from Drollerie Press.

Stephanie Burke:
Have you been flashed? That's what Stephanie Burke is asking. Stephanie, known all over as flash, is a multi published, award winning author, wife and mother of two.
From sexy shape-shifting dragons to undersea worlds, sexually confused fey and homoerotic mysteries, all the way to pastel challenged urban sprites, Stephanie has done it all, and hopes to do more. Currently Stephanie writes for Changeling Press, Ellora's Cave, Loose-ID, Red Rose.

Rebirthing Our Joy

Happy and Healthy Sex Lives for Sexual Trauma Survivors

Sunday, September 26th

6pm

Tickets $20, purchase at the store, over the phone with a credit card or online at Brown Paper Tickets

We are thrilled to welcome back Sarah Sloane, sexuality and relationship educator for this special class.

Often, those of us who are survivors of sexual trauma of all types feel challenged in our expression of our sexuality. Between the aftereffects of the trauma, the feelings of uncertainty, and the fears of doing something that will hurt us, we can get locked into patterns of behavior that stifle our sexual selves, rather than enhance them. We welcome you to the safe space of this workshop, along with partners and supporters of trauma survivors, to talk about techniques to enhance our sense of self, our communication with lovers and play partners, our ability to stay centered and grounded, and to evaluate the potential land mines and create action plans for handling issues as they come up in a conscious, loving, and esteem-building way.

Please note that this class is limited only to survivors of trauma and their partners / supporters. To protect safe space, the doors will be closed to late attendees at ten minutes after the start of class.

People of all genders, sexual orientations and relationship statuses are welcome in this class.

A limited number of reduced cost tickets are available for this class. If you are experiencing financial hardship and would like a reduced cost ticket, please email Jacq.
